Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Ross Industries (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, retains, and protects data in connection with the Ross Commerce Data Connector (the “Application”), an application that integrates with the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API). It applies to the data the Application accesses on behalf of Amazon selling partners (“sellers”) who authorize it.

Information We Access

The Application accesses only seller-authorized report data made available through approved Selling Partner API roles, and only for seller accounts that have explicitly authorized the Application. This consists of aggregate sales and traffic reporting metrics, such as:

• Sessions and page views
• Conversion rate
• Ordered units and sales/revenue
• Related aggregate performance metrics from sales and traffic reports

The Application does not access or store personally identifiable customer information (for example, customer names, addresses, contact details, or order-level buyer information).

How We Use the Data

Seller-authorized data is used solely to deliver reporting, analytics, and business performance monitoring back to the seller who authorized the Application. We use the data to:

• Retrieve and organize sales and traffic reports for the authorizing seller;
• Present metrics in reporting workflows, dashboards, and exports for that seller’s own analysis; and
• Provide setup, authorization, and reporting support requested by the seller.

The Application reports the metrics as provided by the Selling Partner API. It does not apply artificial intelligence, machine learning, or predictive modeling to the data, and does not alter or modify the underlying reported figures.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not combine or aggregate one seller’s data with any other seller’s data. Each authorized seller’s data is processed and stored in isolation.
• We do not sell, license, rent, or otherwise provide seller data to any third party or to any other seller, including competing sellers.
• We do not generate, publish, share, or use insights about Amazon’s business for our own purposes or any other purpose.
• We do not use the data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the reporting service to the authorizing seller.

Data Sharing

We do not share seller data with outside parties except where strictly necessary to operate the service for the authorizing seller (for example, infrastructure or hosting providers acting on our behalf), and only where those parties are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations at least as strict as our own. We may also disclose data where required by law.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain seller-authorized report data only for as long as needed to provide the service under an active agreement. When a seller revokes the Application’s authorization or the service is terminated, the associated report data is deleted within 30 days. Sellers may revoke authorization at any time through their Amazon Seller Central account, and may request deletion of their data by contacting us.

Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to help protect authorized seller data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to operate and support the service.

Your Choices & Seller Rights

Sellers control the Application’s access to their data and can revoke authorization at any time. To request support related to account authorization, reporting access, data handling, or deletion, contact us using the details below.
